Ferryman’s Seafood Café is a floating restaurant, set in the main street of Lakes Entrance. It has both inside and outside seating, so it is fine for all weather. On a nice day, sit outside under the cover of an umbrella, or if it is a bit wet or cold, you can remain dry and warm inside. There is definitely something about being on the water while eating your meal and sipping on a nice cold wine.

They offer both seafood, and non-seafood meals. We recommend the Ferryman’s Seafood Platter for two, which contains a selection of local seafood both hot and cold. They also have a good selection of ‘specials’ which usually contain in season ingredients and ‘just caught’ seafood.

The meals are pretty good, and I would say mediumly priced. They also serve good coffee! You will notice that a good coffee is hard to come across in Lakes Entrance, so make sure you pop into Ferrymen’s for your fix.

Also, under the restaurant is Ferry Seafoods. It sources its products directly from the Lakes Entrance local fishing fleet – so you know you are getting fresh local seafood.
